Advanced Nurse Practitioner / Advanced Clinical Practitioner / Paramedic Practitioner – NewarkLocation: Newark, Nottinghamshire
Role type: Permanent, Full-time or part-time

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced ANP, ACP, or Paramedic Practitioner to join a well-established GP in Newark. You will work autonomously to provide high-quality clinical assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and management of patients across a wide range of presentations, supported by a skilled multi-disciplinary team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a clinician who enjoys a structured environment, clear clinical pathways, and the support of a strong governance framework.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide same-day and routine clinical assessment for patients presenting with undifferentiated symptoms.
- Manage acute and long-term conditions, using evidence-based practice and independent clinical judgement.
- Undertake physical examinations, interpret investigations, and initiate treatment plans.
- Prescribe independently (if qualified) and follow safe prescribing protocols.
- Support chronic disease management and contribute to QOF and local enhanced services.
- Work closely with GPs, nurses, pharmacists, mental health practitioners, and wider primary care colleagues.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation using modern digital systems.
- Participate in clinical audits, learning events, and ongoing professional development.

Person Specification
Essential:
- Registered Nurse, Paramedic, or Allied Health Professional
- MSc / Level 7 Advanced Clinical Practice qualification (or equivalent experience)
- Competent in clinical assessment, diagnostics, and autonomous decision-making
- Independent prescriber (V300) or working towards qualification
- Experience working in primary care, urgent care, or a comparable clinical environment
- Experience with long-term condition management
- Familiarity with primary care digital systems
- Interest in education, mentorship, or service improvement
