Residential Children’s Home Deputy Manager – 4 Bed EBD
Salary: Up to £39,000 p.a.
Sleep-In Rate: £50 per sleep
Location: Bradford
Job Type: Permanent

Successful Applicants Will Have:
- Experience in a senior role within a residential children’s home (EBD experience preferred)
- Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (Level 5 desirable or willingness to work towards)
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- A genuine commitment to achieving positive outcomes for young people
- Flexibility to work a 2 on / 4 off rota, including sleep-ins and additional shifts when required
- Ability to work closely alongside the Registered Manager
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting the Registered Manager with the day-to-day operation of the home to ensure effective and high-quality service delivery
- Maintaining the highest standards of care in line with Ofsted regulations, safeguarding practices, and company policies
- Leading, mentoring, and developing a team of residential care workers to deliver person-centred care
- Overseeing and reviewing individual care plans to ensure the needs of each child are met
- Creating a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment that promotes positive outcomes for young people
- Managing administrative duties including staff rotas, budgeting, and accurate record-keeping
- Building and maintaining positive relationships with external agencies, professionals, and families to support holistic care
- Encouraging professional development within the team and promoting internal career progression opportunities
