Job Description

Confident Veterinary Surgeon wanted – join a supportive, well-equipped practice with a loyal client base and excellent work–life balance.

We’re looking for a confident Veterinary Surgeon to join a friendly and established small animal clinic in Buckhurst Hill, East London. This is a full-time GP Vet role, offering an interesting and varied caseload, a genuinely supportive team, and excellent development opportunities.

The practice has been caring for pets in the local community for decades and is known for delivering high-quality, compassionate veterinary care. You’ll be joining a welcoming, close-knit team where wellbeing, collaboration, and professional growth are truly valued.

The Role

  • Full-time position, average 41.5 hours per week
  • 2 in 6 Saturdays
  • 1 night per week on call for inpatients only (very rare)
  • OOH emergencies covered externally
  • Inpatients cared for on-site by a skilled nursing team
  • Opportunity to also work at a nearby sister clinic with part-time flexibility if preferred

  • Confidence with routine consultations and surgery
  • Comfortable working in a sole-charge environment, with excellent nursing and CCA support
  • A team player who enjoys building relationships with clients and colleagues

Salary & Benefits

  • Salary up to £65,000 depending on experience
