I’m currently partnering with a reputable, patient-centred GP practice that is looking to welcome an experienced or developing Practice Nurse to their friendly clinical team. This position offers stability, strong leadership, and a workplace where your skills will be recognised and nurtured.
As the Practice Nurse, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality primary care services. Your responsibilities will include:
Chronic disease management clinics
Childhood & adult immunisations
Cervical screening
Wound care & treatment room duties
Supporting minor operations
Health promotion & patient education
A genuinely supportive and inclusive working environment

We’re looking for someone who is:
A Registered Nurse with current NMC registration
Confident in primary care skills (or eager to learn with training provided)
Compassionate, organised, and a strong communicator
Keen to work within a team that values quality and innovation

Carrying out wound care, dressings, compression therapy, and suture removal
Completing NHS Health Checks and general health assessments
Delivering health promotion and lifestyle advice
Supporting infection prevention, safeguarding, and clinical governance
Maintaining accurate clinical records on EMIS / SystmOne (or similar)
Contributing to QOF targets, audits, and service improvement
Candidate Requirements
Essential:
Registered Nurse (Adult) with valid NMC registration
Experience within a GP practice or strong transferable nursing background
Competence in immunisations and long-term condition reviews
Confident working independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Strong communication and organisational skills
Desirable:
Practice Nursing or Primary Care qualification
Cervical screening qualification
Non-medical prescribing qualification
Experience working to QOF frameworks
Knowledge of NHS primary care services
