Job Description

We’re looking for an experienced Fire Surveyor specialising in External Wall assessments (FRAEW) to join our Fire Safety team. You’ll carry out technical surveys of external wall systems in line with PAS 9980, assess fire risks, and produce clear, high-quality FRAEW reports that support safe, compliant decision-making.

Key responsibilities:

• Conduct on-site FRAEW surveys of cladding and façade systems

• Analyse fire risks and provide proportionate recommendations

• Produce structured technical reports to a high standard

• Work closely with internal teams, residents, and external stakeholders

• Stay up to date with the Building Safety Act, Fire Safety Act, and sector guidance

What we’re looking for:

• Proven FRAEW or façade fire risk assessment experience

• Strong understanding of cladding, façades, and passive fire protection

• Knowledge of PAS 9980 and relevant fire safety legislation

• Excellent communication and report-writing skills

• Professional accreditation (IFE, RICS, IFSM, CABE) is desirable
