Nursing Home Manager
Location: Bedford, UK
Salary: £60,000 per annum
We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Nursing Home Manager to lead the operations of our small, well-established nursing home in Bedford. This is an excellent opportunity for a confident manager who is passionate about delivering high-quality, person-centred care and ensuring full regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee the day-to-day running of the nursing home to ensure excellent standards of care.
Lead, motivate, and develop a team of nurses, carers, and support staff.
Ensure compliance with CQC standards, health and safety regulations, and organisational policies.
Create, review, and maintain personalised care plans for all residents.
Manage budgets, financial records, and resources effectively to support sustainable service delivery.
Build strong, positive relationships with residents, families, staff, and external stakeholders.
Complete regular audits, assessments, and quality checks to drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications & Skills
Valid NMC PIN and registered nurse qualification (RGN/RMN/RNLD).
Proven experience as a Nursing Home Manager or Deputy Manager within a nursing home or similar care setting.
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Excellent knowledge of CQC regulations, safeguarding, and clinical best practice.
Confident in budget management and resource planning.
Highly organised, proactive, and committed to delivering exceptional, person-centred care.
