A rare and exciting opportunity has arisen for a Head Registered Veterinary Nurse (Head RVN) to join a busy and highly regarded 24-hour veterinary hospital in Kensington.

This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced Senior RVN or existing Head Nurse to take on a leadership role within a modern hospital environment, working alongside a skilled multidisciplinary team and managing a varied caseload ranging from routine procedures to emergency and critical care.

The Role

As Head Registered Veterinary Nurse, you will combine clinical nursing with leadership responsibilities, ensuring the highest standards of patient care and supporting the ongoing development of the nursing team.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading, mentoring and developing the nursing team
• Running nurse consultations and Schedule 3 procedures
• Supporting surgeries, diagnostics and inpatient care
• Monitoring anaesthesia and critical patients
• Managing admissions and discharges
• Driving clinical standards and regulatory compliance
• Delivering exceptional client care and communication

This is a hands-on role where your leadership will directly influence patient outcomes, team development and the overall success of the hospital.

• RCVS Registered Veterinary Nurse
• Previous senior or leadership experience
• Confident across all areas of clinical nursing
• Strong communication and team management skills
