Senior / Principal Façade Engineer

 London (Hybrid: 2–3 days in office)
 Senior: up to £65k | Principal: up to £75k + benefits

Join a rapidly expanding façade consultancy team within a global engineering firm, delivering FRA/EWS1 assessments and façade compliance strategies across residential and student accommodation projects.

You’ll lead inspections, report writing, and client engagement, while mentoring junior engineers and shaping a team set to double in size.

The Role

• Lead façade inspections and EWS1/FRA reporting
• Guide cladding remediation strategies and compliance reviews
• Liaise with developers, main contractors & HSE
• Mentor 2–3 junior/graduate engineers
• Contribute to team development during high-growth phase

Requirements

• 5+ years in façade engineering
• Experience with external wall systems, cladding, and UK regs
• Strong technical writing & client-facing skills
• FRA/EWS1 experience preferred
• Chartered or working towards (CEng/IStructE) a plus
