An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Locum Veterinary Surgeon to join a friendly and well-equipped practice based in Basingstoke. This thriving clinic is seeking an experienced vet who is confident handling first opinion emergencies, routine consultations, and a variety of surgical procedures. Whether you’re looking for a short-term placement or something a little longer, this role offers a flexible and supportive environment to suit your availability and skillset.

The ideal candidate will be competent and calm under pressure, ready to jump into a busy but well-structured day with the support of an experienced clinical and nursing team. Each of these shifts is backed by a fantastic permanent team of RVNs and Receptionists, ensuring you're never short of capable, friendly support throughout your day.

You’ll enjoy the freedom to work autonomously, with access to great facilities and a loyal client base who truly value the care their pets receive.

All forms of payment are accepted, and for the right candidate, an accommodation allowance can be provided—making this a smooth and rewarding placement, even for those coming from further afield.
