I am seeking a Locum Mixed Veterinary Surgeon to join a well-established, RCVS-accredited mixed practice in a beautiful market town in Mid Devon, known for its rolling countryside, rich history, and vibrant local charm.

About the Practice:

Established in 1953, this friendly, community-focused practice has been providing exceptional care for small animals, farm animals, and horses for generations. With two well-equipped branches, they pride themselves on their dedicated team and long-standing client relationships.

Facilities include:

• Endoscope
• Digital X-ray
• Ultrasound
• In-house laboratory
• And all the other tools you'd expect in a modern, progressive practice

About the Role:

• Start Date: Week commencing 18 August 2025
• Duration: Up to 5 weeks
• Schedule: 4-day week, 1 night OOH per week, and 1 weekend cover
• Rate: £450–£500 per day (DOE)
• Accommodation: Can be arranged if needed
• Case Load: Mixed (SA, equine, and farm) – you’ll need to be a confident all-rounder for consultations and routine procedures
