Deputy Children's Home Manager – Rochdale
Location: Rochdale, Greater Manchester
Salary: £35,000 – £42,000 per annum (DOE)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm
Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent

We are recruiting on behalf of a well-regarded children’s residential care provider for a Deputy Manager to support one of their established homes in Rochdale – working Monday to Friday, 9–5.

This role offers an excellent opportunity for someone looking to step into a management role while maintaining regular working hours. You’ll be part of a committed, child-focused team supporting young people with emotional and behavioural needs in a stable, nurturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the Registered Manager in the daily operational running of the home
• Provide guidance and support to care staff during standard hours
• Monitor care plans, safeguarding processes, and quality standards
• Assist with audits, compliance, and staff supervision
• Ensure the home meets regulatory requirements and promotes best practice

Requirements:

• Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent) – essential
• Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management (or willing to work towards) – desirable
• At least 2 years’ experience in a residential childcare setting
• Good knowledge of safeguarding and Ofsted standards
• Strong organisational and leadership skills
• Full UK Driving Licence – essential
