Lead Veterinary Surgeon – Staffordshire

  • Rare and exciting opportunity for a Vet with an orthopaedic/ surgical bias
  • Established orthopaedic/surgical caseload an experienced team and a fully equipped site including state of the art equipment including new lap spay kit, and orthopaedic air-powered tools plus much more
  • Experienced nurse team within surgery and orthopaedic procedures
  • Salary up to £80,000 plus and amazing benefits package
  • Great rota with no OOH!

A rare opportunity where you can be part of driving and building the surgical and orthopaedic referral caseload up to a mid-tier level. There is already an existing caseload with the view to increase this to support 5 local sites. Plenty of support,

dedicated administrative time for leadership duties, and minimal routine consults. What’s not to love?

The  practice has proudly served the communities of Staffordshire and Warwickshire for over 100 years. As a small animal primary care practice with locations in charming market towns, they offer the perfect blend of town and country living, just 15 minutes from Birmingham and only 30 minutes from Birmingham Airport. The team is the heart of the practice. Many have been with the practice for over two decades, and they pride themselves on their supportive, collaborative culture. With a team of 9 Veterinary Surgeons, including a certificate holder in Ophthalmology and others pursuing advanced qualifications in Surgery, Emergency & Critical Care (ECC), and Acupuncture, they are committed to ongoing professional development and clinical excellence.

The ideal candidate would be keen to support the team in all areas and be that clinical lead whilst managing an already established surgical and orthopaedic caseload.
