Care Home Deputy Manager – Witney, Oxfordshire

Location: Witney, Oxfordshire

Are you an experienced Care Home Deputy Manager looking for your next opportunity in a supportive and high-quality care setting? We are currently recruiting a dedicated and hands-on Care Home Deputy Manager to join our friendly team at a well-established residential care home in Witney, Oxfordshire.

As Care Home Deputy Manager, you will support the Home Manager in the day-to-day operation of the home, ensuring our residents receive the highest standard of person-centred care in a safe, warm, and welcoming environment.

�� Key Responsibilities of the Care Home Deputy Manager:
Support the Home Manager in leading the care home’s daily operations

Ensure high standards of care in line with CQC regulations and person-centred principles

Provide hands-on leadership to care staff and lead by example during shifts

Step in as the Care Home Deputy Manager when the Home Manager is absent

Monitor compliance and implement quality improvements

Work alternate weekends and participate in the on-call rota as part of a shared leadership responsibility

�� What We’re Looking for in a Care Home Deputy Manager:
Previous experience as a Care Home Deputy Manager or senior care leader in a residential care setting

NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (minimum requirement)

Sound knowledge of CQC Fundamental Standards and care legislation

Strong communication, leadership, and organisational skills

A compassionate, hands-on approach with a passion for delivering high-quality care

Experience in dementia care and medication administration

�� Desirable Skills and Qualifications:
NVQ Level 5 in Leadership & Management or willingness to undertake

Experience in training or mentoring care staff

Knowledge of residential care home operations and business procedures
