Registered Service Manager / Care Manager
Location: Stockport
Employment Type: Permanent | Full-Time (35 hours/week)
Salary: 46,000 per annum
I am looking for a passionate and experienced Registered Service Manager / Care Manager to lead a team in Stockport , a specialist acquired brain injury rehabilitation service located in Stockport.
This home as a great reputation in the area and provides short-term rehabilitation and cognitive support for adults living with the effects of ABI and other neurological conditions.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strong leadership and clear direction to the staff team.
- Deliver high-quality, person-centred care in line with regulatory standards.
- Ensure full compliance with health & safety and statutory obligations.
- Effectively manage budgets and operate a financially sustainable service.
- Oversee recruitment, training, and performance management of staff.
- Promote a positive and inclusive environment that supports independence and choice.
Skills required:
- A recognised nursing or social care qualification and professional registration.
- Level 5 Diploma
- Proven experience in managing care teams or services within the care sector.
- Strong knowledge of safeguarding, CQC standards, and health & safety regulations.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- A good understanding of financial reporting and budget management.
- Experience working with multi-disciplinary teams such as therapies, catering, administration, and transport is advantageous.
