Veterinary Surgeon – Truro
Join a thriving independent veterinary practice in the heart of Truro, where clinical excellence, a supportive team culture, and genuine compassion for animals take priority over tick boxes and targets. This progressive, forward thinking practice is looking for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon (5+ years qualified) to become part of a team that values innovation, collaboration, and continuous professional development.
Equipped with a fantastic range of modern diagnostic and surgical tools, including endoscopy (gastroscope and bronchoscope), laparoscopic surgery kit, DR and dental x-ray, ultrasound, laser therapy, and comprehensive in-house IDEXX lab systems, the clinic is designed to help you provide the very best care. The 24-hour facilities allow for seamless inpatient care and continuity, with a team that includes certificate holders in Internal Medicine and Cardiology, and a visiting orthopaedic surgeon, ensuring a strong and diverse clinical skillset around you.
This is a role where flexibility truly means flexibility — design your own rota to suit your lifestyle while growing your skills and focusing on the areas of veterinary medicine you’re passionate about. Whether you’re developing an interest or pursuing a certificate, you’ll be fully supported to bring your vision to life within the practice.
Located in the picturesque city of Truro, you'll enjoy stunning Cornish landscapes, a vibrant arts and food scene, and quick access to beautiful beaches — offering an unbeatable balance between professional growth and quality of life!
