We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Care Home Assistant Manager to join our team in High Wycombe. The ideal candidate will have proven skills in management, care team leadership, and the ability to support the Manager of the care team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Care Home Manager in the day-to-day operations of the care home.
- Lead and manage the care team, ensuring high standards of care and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Develop and implement care plans tailored to the needs of each resident.
- Supervise and support care staff, providing training and development opportunities.
- Monitor and evaluate the quality of care provided, making improvements where necessary.
- Ensure effective communication between staff, residents, and their families.
- Manage administrative tasks such as scheduling, reporting, and maintaining records.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a managerial or team leader role within a care setting.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- In-depth knowledge of care industry standards and regulations.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and work under pressure.
- Relevant qualifications in health and social care (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent).
