Veterinary Surgeon - Weekends Only – Cardiff

An exciting opportunity has opened up for a Weekend Only Veterinary Surgeon to join a thriving independent practice in Cardiff. This is the perfect role for an experienced vet looking to deliver exceptional care while enjoying a better work-life balance with flexible weekend shifts and a competitive salary.

The practice is fully equipped with state-of-the-art facilities including three consulting rooms, two theatres, digital and dental x-ray machines, a full Idexx laboratory suite, and separate dog and cat kennels. With a supportive and friendly team already in place, this role offers the chance to work in a modern environment focused on high quality clinical standards and patient care.

The ideal candidate will be confident working sole charge and have at least two years' experience in the UK. They will bring a passion for small animal medicine and surgery, outstanding communication skills, and a caring, empathetic approach to both clients and their pets. Duties will include clinical exams, performing surgical procedures, managing emergency cases, and developing tailored treatment plans.

The Rota

• Part Time position – weekends
• 1 in 3/4 weekends 8.30am – 6.30pm
