This friendly, independent small animal practice offers a supportive team environment with low staff turnover and long term, dedicated staff, providing excellent continuity of care
The practice is equipped with modern facilities including digital x-ray, in-house blood testing, and ultrasound, with a yearly budget for new equipment to ensure top-quality service
You’ll enjoy clinical freedom with minimal sole charge, giving you the opportunity to pursue your interests while being supported by experienced vets, RVNs, and excellent support staff
Current or former Official Veterinarians are desirable for mainly Animal Health Certificates
Offering a competitive salary of £40,000 - £60,000 DOE pro rata and a generous benefits package, this role also provides a potential future partnership opportunity for the right candidate

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon to join a friendly, independent practice in the heart of Birmingham. This low staff turnover practice prides itself on its team of highly experienced professionals, including 3 vets, 5 nurses, and fantastic support staff, many of whom have been part of the team for over 10 years. The practice has a loyal client base, with many clients having been with the practice for over 20 years!

Equipped with digital x-ray, in-house blood machines, and ultrasound, this practice offers a modern and well-equipped environment where clinical freedom is encouraged, allowing you to provide the best possible care for your patients. With a yearly budget for new equipment, the practice ensures its team has the tools they need to thrive. The role offers a family friendly approach, minimal sole charge, and the opportunity to pursue your specific interests within veterinary practice, with appointments scheduled for 20 minutes, leaving time for calls, clinical notes, and a well-deserved lunch break. There is also the exciting prospect of partnership opportunities for the right candidate in the future. Official Veterinarian is desirable for mainly Animal Health Certificates, and the practice is looking for candidates with 2-3 years' experience.

The Rota:

Full time position
3-4 days per week
Potential for some Saturday mornings
