Salary: Up to £55,000


Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Care Home Manager to lead our care home in Swadlincote. The successful candidate will have proven skills in home management, particularly in elderly care and dementia. The role demands a strong track record with the Care Quality Commission (CQC) and the ability to achieve outstanding ratings.

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee the daily operations of the care home, ensuring the highest standards of care and services are provided to residents.
- Manage and lead a team of care staff, providing guidance, support, and training.
- Ensure compliance with CQC standards and regulations, maintaining a strong track record of excellent inspections.
- Develop and implement care plans tailored to the individual needs of residents, particularly those with dementia.
- Foster a positive and inclusive environment for residents, staff, and families.
- Manage budgets, resources, and staffing effectively.
- Continuously seek ways to improve care quality and achieve outstanding ratings.

Requirements:

- Previous experience in care home management, with a focus on elderly and dementia care.
- Strong knowledge of CQC standards and the ability to maintain an excellent track record.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to develop and implement high-quality care plans.
- A commitment to achieving outstanding ratings and continuous improvement.
