Job Title: Clinical Deputy Care Manager

Location: Warrington
Salary: £44,657.60

Must be an ACTIVE RGN

I am working with a well-established care provider who are dedicated to providing high-quality, compassionate care to individuals in need of support. I am currently seeking a passionate and skilled Clinical Deputy Care Manager a high calibre team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in improving the lives of our residents and ensuring the highest standards of care are met.

Role Overview:

As a Clinical Deputy Care Manager, you will be responsible for assisting the Nursing Home Manager in overseeing the day-to-day clinical operations of the care home. You will ensure that clinical care is delivered to the highest standard while promoting a person-centred approach to service delivery. Your role will include leadership, management, and development of staff, alongside ensuring compliance with regulatory and legal requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Care Manager in the overall management of clinical operations within the care home.
  • Supervise and guide clinical staff to deliver the highest quality of care.
  • Monitor and assess residents’ care plans, ensuring they are tailored to meet individual needs.
  • Lead the clinical team in implementing care strategies and protocols.
  • Maintain and monitor compliance with CQC standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Ensure accurate and timely documentation of residents' clinical care records.
  • Act as a key liaison with families, healthcare professionals, and other external agencies.
  • Assist in the recruitment and retention of clinical staff.
  • Handle any clinical emergencies or issues that arise in a calm, efficient manner.

Requirements:

  • Registered Nurse (RGN) with a valid NMC pin.
  • Previous experience in a clinical leadership role, preferably in a care home setting.
  • Strong knowledge of CQC standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong clinical skill set
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team.
  • Compassionate, patient, and dedicated to providing high-quality care.
