Registered Veterinary Nurse FTC – York

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join a thriving and compassionate team in York on a fixed-term maternity cover contract. Based at the main hospital, the successful candidate will become part of a dedicated and ever growing group of veterinary professionals who take pride in delivering exceptional care to the pets of York and the surrounding areas.

The hospital is equipped with cutting edge facilities including a CT scanner and the ability to carry out advanced surgical procedures. As a busy centre, the team offers its own Out of Hours service—not only for their own patients, but also for surrounding practices—making this a fantastic opportunity for a nurse who enjoys variety and being at the heart of a dynamic and skilled environment. With a focus on both consultations and nurse clinics, you’ll be actively involved in all aspects of patient care, supported by a passionate team who understand just how much pets mean to their families.

The role offers a chance to make a real difference within a practice that values teamwork, empathy, and clinical excellence. A full UK driving licence is essential due to the hospital’s service coverage.

• Full time position FTC
