Registered Manager – Children’s Residential Home

Location: Garstang, Preston
Salary: £45,000- £55,000 per year (DOE) + £5,000 registration Bonus + Annual Bonuses
Full-time, Permanent

 What You’ll Do:

  • Lead and manage a 5-bed Children’s Home in line with Ofsted and regulatory standards
  • Develop and maintain personalised care plans for each young person
  • Recruit and develop a stable, high-performing team
  • Assign and support Key Workers
  • Create a home environment that is nurturing, safe, and child-focused
  • Handle safeguarding concerns and manage complaints effectively
  • Collaborate with parents, carers, and professionals
  • Attend and contribute to care planning and review meetings
  • Ensure commercial and operational targets are met

What You’ll Need:

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in residential childcare (1 year in a supervisory role within the last 5 years)
  • Level 3 Diploma in Children’s Residential Care (essential)
  • Level 5 in Leadership & Management (preferred; or willingness to enrol within 6 months)
  • Strong knowledge of The Quality Standards, SCCIF, and childcare regulations
  • Confident communicator with excellent leadership and organisational skills
  • Understanding of trauma-informed care and managing challenging behaviours
  • Full UK driving licence (required)
