Location: High Wycombe
Position: Permanent, Full-time
Salary: Circa £35k
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Care Home Deputy Manager to join our team at a reputable care home in High Wycombe. The Deputy Manager will support the Home Manager in the day-to-day operations of the care home, ensuring the highest standards of care are maintained for our residents. The successful candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a compassionate approach, and a commitment to enhancing the quality of life for our residents.
Care Home Deputy Manager Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Home Manager in the overall management of the care home, including staff management, care delivery, and administration.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards, including CQC requirements.
- Oversee the development and implementation of individualized care plans for residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
- As Care Home Deputy Manager you will lead, motivate, and support the care team, providing supervision and training as needed.
- Conduct regular audits and assessments to monitor the quality of care provided and implement improvements where necessary.
- Manage the recruitment, induction, and ongoing development of staff.
Care Home Deputy Manager Skills and Qualifications:
- NVQ Level 5 in Health and Social Care or equivalent qualification.
- Proven experience in a managerial or supervisory role within a care home or residential home setting.
- Strong knowledge of CQC regulations and care standards.
