Job Description: Commissioning Nursing Home Manager
Permanent
Salary: £70000-£75000
Location: Nr Stoke-on- Trent
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Commissioning Nursing Home Manager to lead our new state-of-the-art care facility in Walsall. The ideal candidate will possess strong skills in dementia care and hold an RMN (Registered Mental Nurse) or RGN (Registered General Nurse) qualification.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the commissioning and operational setup of the nursing home
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and standards
- Lead and manage a team of healthcare professionals
- Develop and implement care plans tailored to individual needs, particularly focusing on dementia care
- Foster a positive and supportive environment for residents, staff, and families
- Monitor and improve care quality and safety
- Manage budgets and resources effectively
Qualifications and Skills:
- RMN or RGN qualification
- Extensive experience in dementia care
- Proven track record of managing a nursing home or similar healthcare facility
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- In-depth knowledge of CQC regulations and standards
