Job Description:

Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Regional Operations Manager to oversee and manage multiple nursing home facilities in the Essex and Bedfordshire regions. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of care, compliance, and operational efficiency across all locations. This role requires strong leadership, strategic planning, and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Operational Management:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of multiple nursing homes within the assigned region.
- Ensure all facilities comply with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to improve efficiency and quality of care.

2. Staff Management:
- Lead, mentor, and support nursing home managers and their teams.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide ongoing training and development.
- Ensure adequate staffing levels and manage recruitment processes.

3. Quality Assurance:
- Monitor and evaluate the quality of care provided to residents.
- Implement quality improvement initiatives and ensure best practices are followed.
- Handle and resolve any escalated issues or complaints.

4. Financial Management:
- Prepare and manage budgets for each facility.
- Monitor financial performance and implement cost-saving measures as needed.
- Ensure resources are allocated efficiently and effectively.

5. Strategic Planning:
- Develop and execute strategic plans to enhance the growth and profitability of the nursing homes.
- Identify opportunities for expansion and improvement.
- Collaborate with senior management to align regional goals with overall company objectives.

6. Compliance and Safety:
- Ensure all facilities adhere to health and safety regulations.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance.
- Implement corrective actions as necessary.

7. Stakeholder Engagement:
- Build and maintain relationships with residents, families, staff, and external partners.
- Communicate effectively with all stakeholders and address any concerns promptly.
- Represent the company at industry events and meetings.

Qualifications:
- Nurse qualification/ NMC registration
- Proven experience in nursing home management
- Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance requirements.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Financial acumen and experience managing budgets.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to travel between locations within the region as required.
- Valid driver's license.
