Location: Meath, Ireland

• Full/part-time Maternity cover - possibility for permanent
• 8.30-6.30 - No OOH
• 1:3 Saturdays 9-5
• Up to €18/h - commensurate with experience
• CPD and VCI paid

A well-established, fast-paced, veterinary practice are looking for an experienced RVN to join their compassionate and supportive team. They've got a large team of 7 vets and 6 nurses, plus their lovely support team, all dedicated to providing high-quality veterinary care for both small and large animals. The practice has since a few years opened a second branch, dedicated to small animals which is fully equipped and ready to take patients from first greet to diagnosis to treatment - all under the same roof. 

• Assist veterinarians in the diagnosis and treatment of animals
• Provide nursing care to inpatients and outpatients
• Perform diagnostic tests and imaging
• Monitor anesthesia and assist during surgical procedures
• Conduct routine health checks 
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
• Participate in the on-call rota as required

• Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) qualification
• Experience in both small and large animal veterinary nursing (ideally)
• Strong clinical skills and knowledge
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Compassionate and dedicated to animal care
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment
• Flexibility to cover shifts as needed
