Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Care Home Manager to oversee the daily operations of our residential care home in Nottingham. The ideal candidate will possess strong management skills and have a proven track record in elderly and dementia care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and lead a team of care staff to ensure the highest standards of care for residents.
- Develop and implement care plans tailored to the individual needs of residents, particularly those with dementia.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and health and safety standards.
- Oversee the financial management of the care home, including budgeting and resource allocation.
- Foster a positive, supportive, and safe environment for both residents and staff.
- Liaise with healthcare professionals, families, and other stakeholders to ensure comprehensive care.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience in managing a residential care home, with a focus on elderly and dementia care.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Knowledge of relevant regulations and compliance standards.
- Ability to manage budgets and financial planning.
- Compassionate, patient, and committed to the well-being of residents.
Qualifications:
- Relevant qualifications in Health and Social Care Management or equivalent.
- Registered Manager Award (or working towards it) is desirable.
