Job Title: Veterinary Surgeon - small animal or mixed animal

Location: Tipperary, Ireland

Job Overview:

• Full-time, Permanent
• Salary between €40,000 - €65,000 depending on experience
• Only 1:5 on call || 1:6 weekend rota + day off in lieu
• 20 days holiday + 3 CPD days
• Expenses covered - additional €10-15k annually

This friendly and professional practice is looking for one small animal veterinary surgeon and one mixed veterinary surgeon to join their team. The practice is ideally looking for someone with experience in orthopaedics, however is open to all candidates and would be happy for new grads to apply. Responsibilities:

• Provide high standard veterinary care
• Diagnose and treat a wide range of medical conditions, utilizing appropriate diagnostic tools and techniques.
• Participate in a 1:5 night rota and 1:6 weekend rota, totaling in only 14-20 days on call annually.
• Maintain professional standards and comply with VCI and VDS regulations.

Requirements:

• Veterinary degree and eligibility to practice in Ireland.
• Experience in orthopaedics is highly desirable but not essential
• Willingness to participate in night and weekend on-call rotations.
• Excellent communication skills
