Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Children's Home Manager to oversee the daily operations of our children's residential home in Haigh. The successful candidate will provide leadership, manage staff, and ensure the highest standards of care for the children in our home.

Key Responsibilities:

- Ensure the home operates in compliance with Ofsted regulations and standards.
- Lead, manage, and support a team of care staff, providing supervision and ongoing development.
- Develop and implement care plans tailored to the individual needs of each child.
- Maintain a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment for children.
- Manage budgets and resources effectively.
- Foster positive relationships with children, families, and external agencies.
- Handle administrative duties, including record-keeping and reporting.
- Promote continuous improvement and best practices in child care.

Skills and Qualifications:

- Proven experience in a managerial role within a children's residential setting.
- Strong understanding of child protection and safeguarding procedures.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to develop and implement effective care plans.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage budgets and resources efficiently.
- Competency in administrative tasks and report writing.
- A relevant qualification in Social Work, Child Care, or a related field.

Requirements:

- Enhanced DBS check.
- Full UK driving license.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and on-call as required.
