An exciting opportunity awaits an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join a dynamic and dedicated small animal team at a well-established veterinary practice in Dublin. This role is 100% small animal-focused, offering the autonomy to manage your own casework, perform clinical consultations, carry out general soft tissue surgeries, and conduct diagnostics, all while developing your own skills and interests in a supportive environment.

Established in 1989, this practice has built a strong reputation as a trusted first-opinion clinic with a loyal client base who value the high standard of care and the welcoming atmosphere. The modern hospital is fully equipped with state-of-the-art technology, including digital radiography, ultrasound, an in-house laboratory, and blood analysers, ensuring you have the tools needed to provide the best possible care.

You will be joining a highly skilled and friendly team consisting of two Veterinary Surgeons, two Veterinary Nurses, and two support staff. Together, they form a close-knit and supportive unit with patient and client care at the heart of everything they do. This is a permanent, full-time position working a 40-hour week with a 1:2 Saturday rota. There are no out-of-hours requirements for this role, allowing for a great work-life balance.

The ideal candidate will have experience in first-opinion practice with proficiency in consultations, surgery, diagnostics, and case management. A commitment to learning and development, along with excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset, is essential. If you are a dedicated professional with a passion for high-quality veterinary care and continued professional growth, we would love to hear from you.
