Position: Registered Manager for New Learning Disability ServiceLocation: Near Hastings, East SussexSalary: Up to £41,000 per annum Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per weekAbout:My client is excited to announce an opportunity for an experienced Registered Manager to lead a brand-new learning disability service near Hastings, East Sussex. This service aims to provide high-quality care and support to individuals with learning disabilities, promoting independence, and improving the overall quality of life for service users.The Role:As the Registered Manager, you will play a pivotal role in the development and successful operation of this new service. You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the service, ensuring the delivery of person-centred care in line with CQC regulations and high-quality standards. Your leadership will help to build a positive team culture, drive continuous improvement, and maintain excellent relationships with external stakeholders.Key Responsibilities:Oversee and manage the learning disability service, ensuring compliance with CQC standards.Lead, inspire, and develop a dedicated care team.Ensure the delivery of person-centred care that promotes independence and well-being.Maintain and improve high standards of service delivery, including achieving and maintaining "Good" or "Outstanding" CQC ratings.Manage budgets, staffing, and resources effectively.Build and maintain positive relationships with service users, families, and external agencies.Ensure staff are appropriately trained and supported to deliver high-quality care.Maintain up-to-date knowledge of learning disabilities, mental health, and relevant CQC regulations.Lead on the commissioning and development of the service as it grows.The Ideal Candidate:Proven experience working in a learning disability setting.An established Registered Manager with a track record of achieving and maintaining Good CQC reports.Alternatively, an experienced Deputy Manager looking to take the next step in their career.Strong understanding of learning disabilities, mental health, and person-centred care.Extensive knowledge of CQC standards and regulations.Commissioning experience would be an advantage but not essential.A natural leader with excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.Passionate about making a difference in the lives of individuals with learning disabilities.Benefits:Competitive salary of up to £41,000 per annum.Full-time, 40 hours per week.Opportunity to make a real impact in the development of a new service.Ongoing training and professional development.Supportive and collaborative working environment.If you are a passionate and experienced leader in the learning disability sector, I would love to hear from you!To Apply:Please send your CV to n.wiltshire@purosearch.com or call Nick @ Purosearch on 02079527641
