Purovets have an opportunity for a veterinary surgeon to join the team at a fantastic practice in Norfolk. You will be at the front line of delivering exceptional care and play an integral part of each one of the practice sites in the area. From routine health checks to advanced surgeries, you will work directly with patients and clients to offer care that is bespoke to them and provide essential support to colleagues in delivering exceptional care.
You will be working in a lovely and soon-to-be refurbished small animal practice with a team of two vets supported by a head nurse, two RVNs, two student nurses and two patient care assistants. They see a general medical/basic surgical caseload and have a lovely, friendly client base. The owner and head vet has been there for 20 years and has recently become a vetGDP advisor. You will be working in a spacious practice that comes well equipped with a digital x-ray, dental x-ray, in-house laboratory and more.
This is a permanent, full-time role working 39 hours per week over four days, but they are open to being flexible where they can to accommodate whatever works for you. They can also support Certificates of Sponsorship for a Tier 2 (General) Visa if you meet the criteria and are eligible to register as a veterinary surgeon with the RCVS upon arrival in the UK.
The practice is situated just outside the beautiful city of Norwich, offering a wealth of historic buildings, one of the finest cathedrals in England and a magnificent castle overlooking the city. The countryside is on their doorstep and they are a stone’s throw away from the Norfolk Broads and the Norfolk coastline, giving you the perfect opportunity to explore.
Role:
Salary up to £72,000 DOE
Full time role – 4 day week
