Lead Veterinary Surgeon – West London
Are you a skilled and confident Lead Veterinary Surgeon looking for an exciting new opportunity? We have a fantastic role available at a well-established, RCVS-accredited small animal practice in one of West London's most desirable locations. If you thrive in a first-opinion setting, are confident in surgery and consulting, and comfortable working sole charge, this could be the perfect fit for you.
Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Lead Veterinary Surgeon to join their talented team. With a loyal client base who are passionate about their pets, this practice offers an excellent environment for working up cases in-house. The practice is fully equipped with digital and dental X-ray, gold-standard dental surgery, ultrasound, in-house lab, and a class 4 laser therapy service. There is also an orthopaedic theatre catering to most ortho and soft tissue procedures, as well as air-conditioned facilities with separate accommodations for dogs and cats, ensuring the highest standards of care.
Set in a vibrant and trendy area, the location is known for its eclectic mix of stylish boutiques, high-end restaurants, and the famous Portobello Road Market. The community thrives on culture, with events like the annual Carnival bringing together a rich heritage of music and celebration. From casual cafés to historic cinemas, this is an area that perfectly blends character with convenience.
You will be joining a highly skilled and dedicated team, including a Lead Veterinary Surgeon working towards a certificate in ophthalmology and a Head Nurse completing an MSc in Clinical Animal Behaviour. This is a fantastic opportunity to work alongside passionate professionals in a supportive and forward-thinking practice.
To be considered for this full-time role, you must be a registered Veterinary Surgeon with the RCVS and have experience in providing exceptional patient and client care.
