Location: Tipperary, Ireland
Job Overview:- Permanent, Full-Time
- Mon-Fri 9am-6pm
- No OOH or Weekend rota
- Salary up to €40,000

About The Practice:
This well-established, independent veterinary clinic located in Tipperary, dedicated to providing high-quality care to their animal patients are looking for an experienced and compassionate RVN to join their team. The team is composed of experienced veterinarians and support staff who are passionate about animal welfare. The practice was established in 2020 and has since expanded to 3 branches!
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high standards of nursing care to a variety of animal patients - LA, SA, Equine
- Assist veterinarians during surgeries and medical procedures.
- Administer medications, treatments, and vaccinations as prescribed by veterinarians.
- Monitor and record patient vitals, behavior, and progress.
- Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment.
- Educate pet owners on post-operative care, general animal health, and nutrition.
- Perform laboratory tests and diagnostic imaging.
- Handle and restrain animals safely and humanely.
- Maintain accurate patient records and manage appointment schedules.
- Participate in continuing education and stay updated on veterinary best practices.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) qualification.
- Valid registration with the Veterinary Council of Ireland.
- Strong clinical and surgical nursing skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Compassionate and patient approach to animal care.
- Proficient in using veterinary practice management software.
- Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and professionally.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development.
Desirable Skills:
- Experience in emergency and critical care.
- Experience in a similar veterinary clinic setting.
- Familiarity with advanced diagnostic equipment.
