Medical Director – Miami

• Well-established animal hospital with cutting-edge technology and state-of-the-art facilities including digital x-ray, ultrasound, and a full in-house laboratory
• Flexible scheduling options available

An exceptional opportunity has arisen for a Medical Director at a well-established animal hospital in Miami, Florida. This is your chance to join a highly respected team where you will be fully supported by world-class medicine, cutting-edge technology, state-of-the-art facilities, and a talented group of professionals. You will have the freedom to do your best work alongside a team you can rely on. This role is perfect for a veterinarian looking to continue practicing medicine while also taking on a leadership position.

You will have the opportunity to shape the hospital’s medical direction and quality of care, much like an owner would, but without the risks of ownership. With the backing of dedicated experts in Operations, Marketing, Human Resources, Payroll, and more, you’ll have the support you need to truly make an impact.

Since 1923, this hospital has been Miami’s first family-owned, 24-hour animal clinic, treating cats, dogs, exotics, and pocket pets with an unwavering commitment to excellence. The facility is equipped with digital x-ray, ultrasound, and a full in-house laboratory, ensuring advanced diagnostics and superior patient care for a loyal and growing client base.

As Medical Director, you will lead a skilled and passionate team in a collaborative environment where mentorship and professional development are a priority. The hospital offers a unique hybrid model, providing a mix of emergency and general practice cases, making this an ideal role for a veterinarian who thrives on variety and complexity.

Flexible scheduling options are available, including overnight, day, or swing shifts, as well as a 7 days on/7 days off rotation. Overnight shifts come with additional compensation and higher production incentives.

This is an outstanding opportunity for a veterinarian who is dedicated to delivering world-class medicine, enjoys mentorship, and thrives in a team-oriented environment. If you’re looking to take the next step in your career while working in a hospital that values both professional growth and work-life balance, this could be the perfect role for you.
