Are you a confident veterinary surgeon looking for a part-time opportunity in one of the most vibrant and desirable areas of London? Our client, a RCVS accredited small animal practice in a bustling market town in South London, is seeking a dedicated vet to join their close-knit team two days per week.

Situated in a neighbourhood recently ranked among the top 10 coolest in the world by Lonely Planet, this charming town offers excellent transport links via the Northern Line and a friendly, welcoming community. The practice itself is a longstanding favourite in the area, known for delivering consistently high standards of care to both patients and clients.

Equipped with excellent on-site facilities, including ultrasound, the practice provides a supportive and collaborative working environment where team members help one another through the challenges of the day. You’ll be fully backed by an experienced support team, which includes a senior RVN, part-time and trainee nurses, a regional manager, and a regional head vet with a wealth of experience to share.

The role offers a regular schedule of two days per week, with shifts running from 8.30am to 6.30pm, including one overlapping day with a senior vet. The rota includes a 1 in 3 Saturday morning at a branch practice, a 1 in 20 Sunday shift at a sister hospital nearby, and just one bank holiday per year. If you're interested in taking on more shifts, our client is open to discussing further opportunities in the region. Best of all, there are no on-call requirements.

This opportunity would suit a vet who is confident in general practice, comfortable with routine surgeries, and enjoys working as part of a small, passionate team. You'll also have the reassurance of support from a 24-hour hospital in nearby Wimbledon for any complex cases.
