Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN)

• Competitive base salary: £31,000–£36,000 per year (pro-rata, depending on experience and skills).

Overview
This independent practice is dedicated to providing first-line 24/7 emergency care with a team of expert clinicians, as well as offering specialist referral services. The approach centres on delivering exceptional patient care while ensuring that clients are fully informed every step of the way, driven by the same care and consideration expected for one’s own pets.

The Role
This is a full-time position that involves a rotating schedule including day, twilight and nights. The role includes providing dedicated care for medical, surgical, and high-dependency patients, ensuring they receive the highest level of attention and treatment.

Candidate Requirements
The ideal candidate will be dynamic, well-organised, and have a keen eye for detail. Empathy and the ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment are essential, along with excellent teamwork skills.
• Qualified RVN with 2-3 years of experience.
• Referral experience is advantageous.
• Experience in emergency care is desirable.
• Strong organisational skills with a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of hygiene and cleanliness.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills across all levels.
