Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure the safety and wellbeing of children, handling safeguarding concerns effectively.
• Provide high-quality care tailored to the physical, emotional, and cultural needs of the children.
• Comply with Children's Acts, Children’s Homes Regulations, and relevant legislation.
• Lead and support a dedicated staff team, offering supervision and training.
• Regularly update children’s care plans to reflect their evolving needs.
• Participate in meetings and reviews as required.
• Support children in achieving their goals and full potential.
• Empower children to be active participants in decisions about their lives.

Essential Requirements:
• Minimum 2 years in residential child care, including 1 year in a supervisory role within the last 5 years.
• Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent), or willingness to start within 6 months.
• Familiarity with childcare legislation, The Quality Standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Strong leadership, planning, and budget management skills.
• Confident in written and verbal communication.
• Understanding of the needs of children with behavioural, emotional, and social difficulties.
• Full UK driving license required.
