Are you searching for a role that combines professional growth with a supportive and vibrant work environment? Our client, a successful small animal practice located in a leafy suburb of Hertfordshire, is looking for a passionate and dedicated veterinary surgeon to join their team. Situated in the tranquil residential area of Hemel Hempstead, you will have the chance to enjoy the historic charm of the old town alongside the modern amenities the area offers. Just 24 miles northwest of London, Hemel Hempstead is ideally located for both families and professionals, with excellent transport links, including regular trains to the capital.
In this role, you will be working alongside two experienced veterinary surgeons: one who holds a surgical certificate and excels in orthopaedic and soft tissue surgeries, and another who specialises in consulting and has a keen interest in dentistry. Your work will involve a mix of consultations and surgeries, ensuring that no two days are ever the same. You will be joining a friendly, close-knit team that includes 2 RVNs and 4 SVNs, all dedicated to providing exceptional care to their long-standing clients.
The practice is well-equipped with excellent facilities, including an ultrasound machine, x-ray machine, in-house laboratory, fully equipped theatre, specialised surgical tools, and two consulting rooms. For advanced procedures like CT scans and all out-of-hours emergency care, they work closely with their sister 24-hour centre.
The successful candidate will need to be RCVS registered with a proven track record of delivering exceptional care to both patients and clients. You should be experienced in working effectively as part of a team and able to demonstrate clinical leadership skills. If this opportunity has sparked your interest, don't hesitate to get in touch to discuss it further.
