Registered Veterinary Nurse – Kent • Generous salary of up to £31,000, DOE, alongside second to none benefits package • 20 days annual leave plus bank holidays and 1 day for every year of service • Nurse Lead independent group with a strong sense of teamwork • Full time, 4 days/week Purovets have an amazing new opportunity in the Kent area for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join a really well regarded independent group, offering great experience, progression and many other financial and non-financial benefits. Dealing with routine and emergency cases, There is a massive variety of roles within the Job specification, including inpatient care, theatre/diagnostics, day/team organisation shifts, nurse clinic/client communication shifts, laboratory shifts and minor surgical procedures. Meaning no shift would be the same and you day to day duties would remain engaging and varied. This Independent practice prides itself on being very nurse lead and encouraging great teamwork and a strong sense of belonging within the company. Clinical coaching is a requirement for all nurses once qualified and settled in. Aiming for each RVN to only have one SVN assigned to them at one time. To ensure the highest standard of care veterinary nursing are expected to carry out duties according to the standards and policies laid down by the RCVS therefore contributing to high quality animal care and good staff relationships. Other day to day tasks would include maintaining up to date and accurate clinical records. Dispensing drugs in accordance with professional guidelines and hospital rules, Having empathy to client needs and offering physical and emotional assistance to clients in often sensitive situations. Due to the Nature of the role a drivers licence/car owner is prepared but not necessary as the location of the practice is very accessible with easy links to public transport.
