Veterinary Surgeon - Sowerby Bridge • Veterinary Surgeon opportunity at a family-run, independent small animal practice in West Yorkshire • Modern, well-equipped practice boasting 2 highly equipped inter-connecting theatres, an imaging room with ultrasound and digital X-ray, a separate dental room with dental X-ray and more • No weekends or bank holidays on call • Competitive salary between £35,000 and £70,000 Are you a recent graduate looking to kickstart your veterinary career or an experienced veterinary surgeon seeking a nurturing environment to further your expertise? Our client, an independent, family-run small animal practice in West Yorkshire, has been serving the local community since 2005. Over the years, they have expanded to become a thriving 4/5-vet practice with 6 exceptional RVNs. Their modern, well-equipped practice boasts two highly equipped inter-connecting theatres, an imaging room with ultrasound and digital X-ray, a separate dental room with dental X-ray, and separate dog and cat wards. They are proud to be IFSM Cat Silver Accredited! Plus, they have exciting plans for the future, including the installation of a CT scanner. One of the partners is a skilled surgeon who performs a wide range of procedures, from orthopaedics including TTA, Z-Lig™ repairs, and RidgeStop™ to intricate soft tissue surgeries. Additionally, they collaborate with visiting veterinary surgeons who bring advanced endoscopes and imagers, allowing them to handle even the most complex cases in-house. The team are more than just colleagues; they are a close-knit family who enjoys working and socialising together, whether it's a trip to the cinema or a weekend getaway like a recent excursion to Centre Parcs.
