Our client is looking for a skilled Veterinary Surgeon to join their expanding team at a family-run, independent practice on the Isle of Bute & the Cowal Peninsula. Imagine a practice where every day brings new challenges and exciting encounters. From caring for small animals and equine patients to tending to the needs of captivating wildlife, this independent family-run practice offers a thrilling range of cases that will ignite your passion for animal care.
Set in the midst of Scotland's natural wonders, this location offers serene beaches, rolling hills, and endless opportunities for outdoor adventures.
You will become part of a collaborative team of 7 skilled vets, each committed to supporting one another. This RCVS-approved nurse training practice is home to 2 RVNs, 2 ACAs, and a dedicated trainee ACA, all working together seamlessly to provide top-notch care.
Starting with 30-minute consultations, you will have the support you need to excel. Their team of experienced professionals will ensure you are never on your own, fostering an environment where learning and personal development are paramount.
The practice is fully equipped with digital X-ray and ultrasound, with ongoing upgrades to meet your needs. They are also happy to invest in new equipment to support your interests.

The Rota:
• Full time role
• Lunch break between 1pm and 2pm
• On call rota: 1:4 weekends and 1 weeknight per week with the Friday off after the weekend on-call
• 2 types of shifts: Consulting shift and operating theatre
