As Lead Veterinary Surgeon, you will take the helm and collaborate with a dedicated clinical team comprising vets, nurses, and receptionists across all practice locations. The core objective is to deliver the utmost level of care while streamlining convenience, minimising customer effort, and fostering lasting bonds with clients. In this multifaceted role, you will manage the clinical activities of fellow vets, acting as the first point of contact for management-related matters. You will also facilitate team development to optimise the utilisation of clinical services, promoting a culture of continuous improvement. You will work closely with the Clinical Director to provide leadership, coordinate efforts, deliver essential training, and foster team development and will play a vital role in the day-to-day organisation of the team, including responding to requests for unplanned absence coverage. While possessing a surgical certificate is advantageous, it is not essential. The practice eagerly supports and encourages pursuit of certification studies for interested candidates. With four fully-equipped branches operating within their own right, within Kent and East Sussex, you will have access to a wealth of knowledgeable associates who will stand by your side.
