Purovets has a fantastic opportunity for a Small Animal Graduate Veterinary Surgeon who is looking to develop their skills, receive mentorship from experienced professionals, and thrive in a practice that prioritises both patient care and staff wellbeing.
Due to expansion our client is looking for a Small Animal Graduate Veterinary Surgeon to join their team at their practice situated in a picturesque market town in Cumbria. Our client offers a Small Animal Graduate Development Programme, and you will be mentored by a team of experienced registered VetGDP mentors and you will have the opportunity to thrive in a practice that values staff wellbeing.
Our client takes immense pride in their distinguished reputation for delivering the utmost standard of care to the beloved pets residing in Cumbria, Northumberland, and the beautiful Borders of Scotland.
This is a modern RCVS Tier 2 nurse training practice with 3 branches in the local area and a large team of vets and a friendly and experienced team of support staff. The practices have well-equipped facilities including digital radiography, endoscopy, ultrasound, ECG, and full surgical capabilities. With 15-minute consults as the norm, this ensures efficient and thorough care. The practice benefits from regular visits by cardiology and ultrasonography specialists, as well as access to mobile CT/MRI services, enhancing their commitment to comprehensive and advanced diagnostics.
The practice is nestled in the picturesque countryside of Cumbria and boasts stunning natural beauty. With rolling hills, charming landscapes, and nearby North Pennines Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, outdoor enthusiasts will find plenty to explore and admire.
The Rota:
• Full Time
• 4.5 day week with the option to reduce to a 4 day week after 12 months
• on-call rota
