Mixed Veterinary Surgeon - North Yorkshire Overview • Salary up to £50,000 per annum • Independent mixed practice • Full or Part time considered • Friendly, dynamic, and growing team. Purovets are looking for a Mixed Veterinary Surgeon for a friendly, independent mixed practice situated in the beautiful Yorkshire Dales. You will be joining a 9-vet team who have a wealth of experience who are always happy to offer their support and share their knowledge. This is a forward-thinking practice with an open-door policy and a very friendly supportive bunch. The practice is equipped with all the usual toys and gadgets needed to do a great job, the practice sees a varied caseload and has an excellent reputation with the local community. The practice is situated in a picturesque Georgian market town where you will find a mixture of independent shops, cafes and pubs lining the cobbled streets along with museums, a cinema, and the theatre. It’s a great location for exploring the stunning Yorkshire Dales National Park and with its spectacular scenery you won’t regret getting to know this amazing area, with its picture-postcard setting and great places for pub lunches. The rota: • Civilised 5.30pm finish time • Half day off each week, where you will finish at 1pm • Out-of-hours, covering a weeknight each week and a 1:7 first on call rota with full support from the team. The Candidate: The successful candidate will be a good team player and be enthusiastic, proactive, and motivated to provide a high quality first opinion service to patients and clients. The practice provides consistent support and the opportunity to improve and grow as a vet.
