Registered veterinary Nurse – Berkshire • Amazing salary of up to £35,000 • Independent family run practice with a friendly feel • Recently renovated with state of the art facilities, allowing you to get the most from this opportunity • No OOH • 28 days annual leave plus an extra day for your birthday The practice are an independent, friendly practice located in rural countryside between Windsor and Maidenhead in Berkshire. The role is ideally 4 or 5 days per week with shifts varying between 8-4pm and 11-7pm Monday to Friday across the nursing team. The practice is also open to 3 days per week for the right candidate. They open on Saturday mornings 9-12 and the successful RVN will be required to contribute to our 1 in 5 rota. The Practice: You would be joining a highly qualified team striving to provide exceptional care for our clients’ pets and are a unique practice in the area due to our size, location and independence. They also provided advanced services such as soft tissue and orthopaedic surgery. After a big renovation last year the practice is modern and advanced. The role: To provide nursing care to hospitalised patients, including patient monitoring and health checking, feeding, grooming and walking animals. administer treatments including injections, tablets, fluids and blood transfusions. Performing diagnostic tests, e.g. blood sampling, urine analysis and x-rays. Assisting in all theatre procedures, including orthopaedic and spay/neuter procedures. The ideal candidate will be someone who aspires to stand out in their field, and it’s this vision and enthusiasm that forms the foundation of the team ethic. You should ideally have a minimum of one year's experience, be passionate about providing a high standard of veterinary care and be looking to develop your nursing skill set.
