An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Veterinary Surgeon to join a proudly independent small animal practice in Leicester. Due to expansion, this friendly and dedicated team is looking for a passionate vet to become part of their close-knit family!
Nestled in a quintessential English market town renowned for its fine food and drink, this practice offers the perfect blend of professional fulfilment and an enviable work-life balance.
Having had the unique opportunity to design and build their own facilities, the practice is equipped to the highest standards. With a cat friendly waiting area, separate dog and cat wards featuring comfortable hospitalisation facilities, a spacious prep area leading to a dedicated operating theatre, a modern diagnostic suite with digital radiography and ultrasound, and a separate dental suite, they ensure that patients receive the best possible care.
The ideal candidate would be an experienced vet who is keen to support their new graduate and thrives in an independent practice setting. For those with long-term aspirations, there is even the potential to become a partner in the future. The team consists of four vets and a group of highly experienced nurses, fostering a genuinely friendly and collaborative atmosphere. There are no egos here—just a team of dedicated professionals working together to achieve the best outcomes for their patients.
This practice takes pride in providing their own out-of-hours care, believing in being there for clients when they need them the most. However, they also recognise the importance of work-life balance, and their clients are incredibly understanding, ensuring that on-call duties are far from overwhelming.
Leicester itself offers a fantastic quality of life, with its rich history, vibrant cultural scene, and excellent transport links, making it an ideal location for professionals seeking both career satisfaction and a great place to call home!
