Veterinary Surgeon Dorset Purosearch has a fantastic opportunity for a Veterinary Surgeon to join an incredibly hospitable and very supportive Practice with a particularly kind, friendly and loyal client base! My client is a proudly independent, Graduate Friendly, Tier 2 RCVS Accredited Small Animal Practice with 4 vets, based in a modern, purpose-built premises. The practice is located in a beautiful town in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, just 15 minutes from the Jurassic coastline. Just 10 minutes away from the nearest Train Station with a mainline train service to London Waterloo (2 hours) The Practice: The practice has all the clinical and diagnostic equipment you could need including a well-equipped in-house laboratory with dedicated nurse, a laparoscopy unit for keyhole surgery, and their own Physiotherapy/Hydrotherapy Rehabilitation Centre. The Candidate: My client prides themselves in collaborative and supportive care, where case discussion is strongly encouraged throughout the practice within their varied caseload, and further training is encouraged in whatever you are interested in! • Good communication skills, both with colleagues and clients is incredibly important. • Someone who will enjoy being part of our team. The Role: • Full Time Role, based on a 40-hour week, with a one night a week on call (with back up on-hand at all times) and a shared Rota (1:4) for Weekends on Call The Package: • Salary dependent on experience • Additional Coaching Days on offer for Customer Service, Communication and for learning how to handle difficult situations. • Support if needed to find you suitable accommodation, so you will have somewhere great to live when you arrive! • Competitive Salary • 5 Weeks Annual Leave Plus most Bank Holidays • CPD encouraged and Fully Funded including possibility for certificate progression. • Good bakers and tea makers are encouraged.
