Are you an experienced/qualified accountancy and tax professional looking for a new opportunity to grow? Our client, an accountancy practice based in Barnes, and they are seeking a dedicated Accountancy/Tax Senior to manage a diverse portfolio of clients.

About the Role

• Position: Accountancy/Tax Senior
• Location: Barnes, London
• Hours: Full-time

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of accountancy and tax clients
• Prepare financial statements in accordance with FRS105 and FRS102(1A)
• Supervise and mentor staff, including qualified team members
• Prepare personal tax returns for self-employed individuals and high net worth clients
• Handle corporation tax and maintain a broad understanding of various tax types
• Utilize Sage, Xero, QuickBooks, and PTP software for accounting and tax tasks

About You

• Qualified, part-qualified (ACCA training practice), or qualified by experience
• Currently working in a reputable accountancy firm
• Proficient in preparing financial statements and tax returns
• Strong tax knowledge, especially in personal and corporation tax
• At least four years of tax work experience in a quality accountancy firm
• Familiar with accounting software: Sage, Xero, QuickBooks, and PTP
