Our client is a boutique tax advisory firm located just two minutes' walk from Baker Street in London. Who you are

We are seeking a Tax Compliance Consultant with experience in personal tax and business tax compliance to join our client's collaborative tax team.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Management of the Personal Tax Compliance Service: Oversee the day-to-day requirements of a portfolio of personal tax clients. Responsibilities include drafting initial communications, preparing quotes and information requests, liaising with clients to gather tax information, reviewing this information, and preparing and filing Personal Tax Returns for a diverse portfolio of clients, including sole traders, partnerships, company directors, and High Net Worth individuals.

  • Preparation of Annual Tax Compliance Filings: Handle the preparation of various annual tax compliance filings, including ATED returns, EMI returns, Employment Related Securities returns, P11Ds, and PSAs.

  • Annual Tax Planning for Clients: Be intimately involved with the personal tax affairs of clients, assisting with their annual tax planning requirements. This includes annual remuneration planning, state pension forecasting, and helping clients maximize their annual allowances (e.g., CGT annual exemption, pension contributions, ISAs allowances).

  • Client Liaison: Maintain and develop client relationships.

  • Tax Advisory Project Work: Potential to assist with tax advisory project work from time to time.

  • ATT qualified (or similar qualification).
  • Experience with CCH Personal Tax software.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
